Adam Gearing

I'm a photographer based out of Sydney, AUS with an unrelenting drive to get outdoors. I always bringing a camera with me to capture and share my experiences. This also is how I developed a passion for landscape and adventure photography, using my skills and knowledge as a climber, skier and hiker to find unique angles and perspectives in remote locations.

When I see a landscape photograph, I view at it as though I am in the first person, as though if I were there on that day at that moment, that is what my eyes would see too. I am constantly fascinated with how a person in an image can transform a viewer’s reaction. I want to first transport the viewer into my images and then take them on a visual tour around the landscape, to create a heightened and more emotive connection.

I use photography as my means to tell stories and share emotions. I want to create a visual scene that speaks true my passion for the outdoors and my drive to push myself into wild and adventurous places.

I shoot using a high-end Nikon camera with Nikon and Tamron lenses, capable of producing excellent quality, detailed images that are suitable for all manner of printing and publishing.
